Product Description
Positioning Describes an approach to creating a "position" in a prospective customer's mind - one that reflects a company's own strengths and weaknesses and those of its competitors. This book shows readers how to reposition a strong competitor and create a weak spot, use the present position to its best advantage, and choose the best name for a product. Full description

Ramsay Wood (United Kingdom) (2006/08/03): Hmmm...this is/was a revolutionary marketing book, full of wit and fun as well as dead practical advice on how to place products/brands in the mind. Nefarious? No, just the way things often work whether we like it or not. It's realy a chess book, and by now a classic on marketplace warfare. In fact it was the authors' second book; the first was called 'Marketing Warfare'.
