This is a great story, and a quick read (almost too quick). Maybe I'm used to other fantasy stories that include so much detail they get bogged down in descriptions. This story is not that way, the pacing of this story is very fast; in fact, some scenes seem sort of rushed, and in many cases I really wanted MORE detail, MORE description, anything to slow the action down and make it last longer. I'm interested to watch the movie now and see the filmmaker's interpretation, there are several scenes which have the potential to be beautiful onscreen.
