Paulina K (USA: NY) (2009/07/27): One of the worst books I've ever read, and that's saying a lot. It was so bad I felt spurred, before I could even bring myself to finish the last couple of pages, to write my first negative review on Amazon.com. The author is basically a self-indulgent spoiled brat who thinks not taking cab rides or giving up chocolate are examples of self-sacrifice while simultaneously indulging in spas, yoga classes, private gyms, and shopping for expensive clothes. The worst part? She only 'suffers' through these sacrifices for a month (sometimes cheating) and then rockets back to her vice as soon as her 30 days are over. She is hardly inspirational, and merely makes herself look foolish and spoiled. I mooched this book, so I'm pretty happy I didn't have to spend any money on it, but I still feel negatively toward it for the waste of time and aggravated feelings it stirred in me. Really, don't waste your point on the book. Give it a pass -- heck, give it a wide berth.
