stellastarstruck (Japan) (2008/12/27): I hated it. Like most Dean Koontz books the characters are very interesting, but he is so very preachy. He goes on and on about how wonderful Golden Labradors are (we know, we know, and we don't care anymore) and how people with Down's Syndrome are special/mysterious/gifted. It may be true, but he's overused this motif and in this novel he tends to ram his opinions down our throats. It's about a couple trying to save a little girl. Along the way they discover each other's secrets. Typical Koontz stuff. He's just phoning it in these days.
Naomi (Ireland) (2009/03/05): Wow, i love dean koontz too, long time fan, but this was pretty terrible, every now again he just drops one of these, come on and write something great again..
