Dovile (Lithuania) (2008/06/25): I recommend reading the books of these series PRIOR to watching the movies, because a) you'll be able to enjoy the book fully and b) you'll be able to follow the events in the movie much better.
Kids up to 10 years old will definitely love this book (and series), but unless you actually are up to 10 years old, or very much into Christian fiction, or simply must read it because of the movies (or because everyone else had), don't bother.
