June (France) (2007/05/12): I really liked this book but the review I will leave to amazon. Synopsis From the author of EPIPHANY, a crime thriller which is set in Spain and concerned with a double murder which occurs during a week of religious celebration. The murders are linked to historical secrets and to official corruption, and before the religious festival concludes more deaths are discovered. From the Author My first book... Every author has a soft spot for his first book and Semana Santa is no exception. I began this in Spain at Easter 1994, as a dark murder story set against Holy Week in an Andalucian city. Like all first-time authors, I never really expected it to be published, but now Semana Santa has appeared in several languages and a movie is due to shoot in 1999. It's a tale with a certain grim humour and I hope, plenty of twists along the picareque way.
