Reviews: Nolan (Canada) (2007/06/04):
I love this book! Mostly for the historical background of predictions and predictors. Biblical prophesies, Irish Saints, Nostradamus, Futurists, Science as prophecy, premonitions, its all here. Neatest is the accuracy of a bunch of science fiction writers. Jules Verne, Jonathan Swift, HG Wells, Arthur C. Clarke, Aldous Huxley, George Orwell, Ray Bradbury, Harry Harrison, Isaac Asimov, Robert Silverberg - these guys are apparently the real prophets.

Much amusement came from reading the 'predictions' of Jeane Dixon 27 years later, when most were already supposed to have happened. I guess I was at summer camp in the middle of the 1980's when that comet struck the earth and caused disastrous earthquakes tidal waves;) Of 19 dated predictions, 17 are completely wrong, one we'll have to wait until 2020 to find out it is also wrong, and the last is that the world will not end for at least another 3,000 years. Not much of a prediction. I predict that the world will not end for at least another 20 minutes... by the time you read this, at least I'll have been proven right!!

Also hope you don't live in New York, Los Angeles, or San Francisco, since as per Edward Cayce's prediction, you were all destroyed in 1998. NY and LA were also destroyed in 2006 according to another seer.
