Status message:
For books sent within the UK, I will post 2nd class. Any books sent outside the UK will be sent by the cheapest postal rate. Outside of Europe, this will be by surface mail. Please bear in mind that this can take upto 3 months.
I am a pensioner,and my postal budget is limited, so I may have to decline sending any hardback or large paperback books abroad.
As much as I dislike to do so, I will probably reject requests from overseas moochers who are unwilling to post outside their own country.
Most of my books are in "good" or "very good" condition, and I will give an honest description of their condition.
My books come from 3 swap sites and local charity shops, so I cannot confirm their origins as far as smoking or pets are concerned.
My husband is disabled following 2 strokes so I am only able to go to the post office on Tuesdays and occassionally on Fridays---I will try to advise the day of posting in my acceptance email.
A lot of my books are registered with BookCrossing [under the name of zantemum] It would be great if you continued to update the BookCrossing website, but this is entirely your choice.
I suffer badly with arthritis in my hands so I am slowly replacing my hardback books with the paperback version. I will be putting the hardbacks back into my inventory--they are in excellent condition, and mostly unread.

Bio:
I am a retired Civil Servant and a true home bird.Like most other members of this site, I am an avid reader, and average 6-8 books a month.
I am a member of ReadItSwapIt, and BookHopper as well as BookMooch and my books are listed on all 3 sites. I try to ensure that each site is kept upto date with swaps and trades, but I do occassionally forget---I put this down to age.
I am blissfully married to Trev ( for 42 years ) and have a wonderful daughter Lisa and a very clever and precious grandson Sam who is 16.
Our home is entirely smoke free, but we do have pets---a tank full of tropical fish--but thankfully none of them read!!
