Status message:
I am now offering 2-for-1 on regular size paperbacks (those up to 7.5" tall, 4.5" wide). I am buried beneath a mountain of books and need to thin them out! If you have a question about the size of the books, email me. Also, ANY children's books are 2-for-1. I am also offering 3-for-1 on all magazines, including needlework pattern books, leaflets and booklets. Also, I am not averse to making a deal. Please ask me! From time to time you may see that I have large numbers of mooched books to mail. That is because I often mail out large boxes of books to charities and some individuals. It is not because I just don't mail out books, so don't let that throw you. All the people I mail to are usually pleased with the speed of my mailing! It just takes a little longer to get out the extra-large mooches!

Bio:
My husband died on Sept. 4th, 2010. Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes. It meant a lot to me! My youngest sis moved in with me in January 2011. She is a great help and comfort to me. We now have 3 cats between us! They keep us busy and entertained! I love reading, playing the piano, sewing, crafting and BookMooch! We do not smoke, so no odors from that on my books, however I can't personally vouch for those that follow me home from thrift stores, etc. I do work on them so the smell is lessened as much as possible if I get hold of one like that! My books are always cleaned, mended and made as good as they can possibly be-usually better than how they were when I received them. I am conscientious about mailing the books out as soon as I can. Sometimes health issues intervene and emergencies, as they do for all of us, but I will let you know if any delay is to be expected. Mooch away! (See status message!)
