As I've had so many overseas requests recently I'm afraid that there will be a delay of about a month before I can post the next books which I accept. If you're happy to wait up to 3 months for a book then please request away. This only stands for international requests, books to the UK will still be sent within a week by second class post. If you're sending me a book would you consider putting stamps on the parcel, please? I collect used stamps for an animal rescue in south Wales and foreign stamps and the larger UK commemorative stamps (which you often have to ask for) are particularly valuable. Thank you! I have two cats who have the run of the house so please be aware if you're allergic. This is a non-smoking home but as I get books from Freecycle etc I can't guarantee that books will not smell of smoke though I've never noticed it yet. Please note that, as a Bookcrosser, all my books will have a label on the inside front cover and possibly some stamped Bookcrossing details on a page or two. Please don't feel that you have to journal it on Bookcrossing, though it would bring a smile to my face if you did :-) Once the book is in your hands, it's yours to do with as you please but I would be grateful if you kept the Bookcrossing label in the book. Overseas mooches will be posted surface rather than air mail, so may take 6 to 8 weeks. Inland mooches will be sent second class. There are a couple of hardback or large books in my inventory which I'll post to the UK only. Due to the closure of my local Post Office I'm probably only going to be able to post out once a week from now on, so please be patient :-) |
