Status message:
Hi - since message about moving house in ~Jan 08, all is till in turmoil - possessions in plastic bags, no internet access at home, change of job, etc, etc, etc. I realise this is NOT GOOD MOOCHING BEHAVIOUR, and am offended with myself, but will attempt to remedy all this once i get sorted. In the meantime, apologies to all affected by such shoddiness.

love tibor fischer, started to read my first rushdie the other day - surprised and very impressed ("the moor's last sigh")
still have an uncommon affection/affliction for james herriot, probably due to watching series on tv when small. am currently reading snowblind, the rushdie above, martin amis' heavy water, kv's a man without a country, the guardian weekend magazine, and the back of a duvet cover packet (have you SEEN how much packaging you're left with after reclothing your bed and replacing a kingsize mattress these days? sheesh!) all these details are subject to change/deceit/conceit. amen.
