Status message:
Saturday is my usual day for going to the post office, although if I can send books earlier I will.

Some weeks I have less time to spend on the computer than others so if you send a mooch request and I don't get back to you about it right away, please be patient! It's not personal, I just occasionally get swamped.

Bio:
Total bookaholic. If there's a twelve-step program for this out there, I don't want to know. Actually, sitting here at my computer contemplating my reading habits makes me realize I made a huge mistake when arranging my home office. Why in the world did I think it would be a good idea to have my to-read books stored on shelves that are in my direct line of sight as I sit at my computer? No wonder I get so easily distracted!

As for my taste in books, I tend to read in batches. I'll make my way through a stack of historical romances, then decide I want something contemporary so I'll switch to reading mysteries. Make it through a bunch of those and now I'm in the mood for darker urban fantasies. Then maybe I want to lighten it up with a few fluffy or comedic stories, or maybe take a mental leap in a different direction for science fiction. Reading two or three books in one particular genre oftens leads to me poking around the Internet to see what other authors are out there in that genre. BookMooch is a great way to try new authors and to catch up on the back inventory of my favorites.

With my own inventory I do try to always include condition notes. If a listed book doesn't have a note, e-mail me at cmsweeney@mac.com and I'll verify what kind of shape it's in.

Wallet willing, I send books via first-class mail. If I have to use a slower mail service, I'll let you know in my "sent" message. I do NOT expect people who send me books to rush to the post office or send it first-class; whatever your wallet and schedule allow is fine.
