Status message:
I am not on vacation but am in my first year of graduate school. That means any mooches will be slow in coming because finishing my term papers comes first, then comes my fulltime job, then comes sending book mooches out. So if you can't be patient then please don't mooch from me at this time.
I live in a non-smoking home but have three cats so my books are probably not a good choice for someone with animal allergies. I do buy books everywhere I go - from garage sales, thrift stores, library sales so can't guarantee that some won't have smoke or be creased and worn. I consider these still readable and try to post the condition but if you have concerns then email me first, okay?
The costs of mailing overseas are extremely high. As much as I want to support booklovers, I simply can't afford to send books that require hefty airmail tags. I will mail to Canada or Mexico so definitely ask if you are from those two countries.

Bio:
I live in a small town in Oregon called Cascade Locks. It is between the Columbia River and Cascade Mountain Range. I'm always picking up books at garage sales and thrift stores, far more than I can manage to read. I saw this website listed on goodreads.com and decided to give it a try to recycle some of my books.

some people have asked about tchumke. It's an Indian word - can't remember if it's Wasco or Warm Springs (Central Oregon) but means "beautiful, beautiful land"
