Hello My Dear Fellow BookMoocher, Books have always been my passion and I spend a lot of my free time on BookMooch.com and BookCrossing.com. These are fantastic projects and I am very excited to be a part of them! Most of the books in my Inventory are from my bookshelf, which means they are new and gently read once. There are also some books that I have purchased used or mooched and if the condition is less than great I try to make a note of it in the condition notes. My books come from a non-smoking household; however, we do have several cats (the exact number depending on who we are fostering from the Humane Society). Some of my books have BookCrossing stickers and if you happen to mooch one of those I would really appreciate it if you made a journal entry to that effect on BookCrossing.com (it's free and painless). I love the concepts of BookCrossing and BookMooch and I wholly support them. This is why I will not accept mooches from people who are looking to resell mooched books. I believe this goes completely against the philosophy of BookMooch, so please don't try or I will reject your mooch. As far as my personal profile, I am a professional counselor, currently working with difficult children and in private practice. I am happily married to my SoulMate and we live in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. My favorite activities are reading (duh!), meditating, enjoying a fine meal out with my husband, hiking, kayaking, playing with kittens, and walking the big dogs at the Humane Society.
