I very much wish I could still send books to other countries, but the cost is just more than I handle, and I don't want to disappoint people by making them wait for months while I try to save up enough money. US postal rates are VERY high.

About condition notes---I will note if a book is in extra good or extra bad shape. Most of my books are very decent looking, but not brand new looking---they might have things like cover bends, a few notes or an inscription, a few small marks on the cover---they are all books (unless noted) that I would feel fine reading and usually they look what I would call very good. I would not call most of my books in collectible condition, so if you are looking for a book to sell or a book to collect, probably mine are not what you want. I wish I could do condition notes on every book, but for now, that would make Bookmooch more like a 4th job instead of a fun hobby!

Also, I'm NEVER in a hurry for books, so please don't spend extra to send books to me Priority Mail or anything! If I needed a book fast, I would buy it, not mooch it! And don't feel like you have to use perfect packaging---as long as the book gets to me in one piece, I'm more than happy!

Bio:
I love books! I can't remember a time when books weren't a huge part of my life. I am married and have 3 children, and I feel that helping them become lifetime readers is one of my most important jobs as a parent. It's not always easy! My two sons are 15 and 12, and I try to always have many books they might enjoy on hand around the house. My daughter is 5. She has been diagnosed as autistic, although I am not sure I agree with the diagnosis. She likes to be told stories more than have books read to her, so I am collecting books that have good stories for telling in them! My husband doesn't read much---one of his few big flaws! He will read an interesting nature or history book if I leave it around the house, so I am working on that too. Thanks to ALL on Bookmooch---I love this site!
