IMPORTANT: If I've mooched something off of you, please write the lowest possible value on the customs form, or even "no cash value"- I have to pay in so heavily for the books and things I get from overseas, simply because the post office doesn't seem to acknowledge that what I do is swap for second hand goods. When no money has exchanged hands, they're not supposed to charge me duties, so please remember to write something deterring on the form. Thanks!

Completely off topic, but this is bugging me. Is it strange that the whole day today I've had the lyrics of the first sorting hat song stuck in my head set to the tune of the original Big Rock Candy Mountain? And is it stranger still that the rhythm of the lyrics fit the tune so well?

NB- South Africa seems to have a higher rate of parcels either going missing or being returned to sender, which accounts for my high lost rate. I assure you, every book I mark sent has actually been sent, and please refer to my excellent sent history- please do not be put off by this when mooching from me. I'm a South African bookmoocher, which- as we all know- is a very rare kind of blue, one eyed salamander indigenous to the Australian Outback. These salamanders love movies, films, cinema, redundancy, books, books and books, and also fantasy when the mood strikes. These salamanders are mildly to disturbingly obsessed with Stephen Fry and all things UK / Ireland etc, especially the British humour.
