In order to drive green, I will take your book to the post office the next time I go to the post office for another reason, or within two weeks of acceptance, whichever comes first. Whenever possible, I do take advantage of media rate postage, which may take a bit longer to arrive at your home. I do not consider it greedy if you request more than one book. It is actually more cost effective for me to mail more than one book at a time than to mail multiple books individually. Please share in my efforts to be green to ensure that I continue to accept your mooch requests. Please note that I am in the process of moving so I recently sold six boxes of books locally to avoid having to move them. As soon as I get settled, I will start more active swapping again. Note to those interested in CRAFT LEAFLETS AND PAMPHLETS ONLY: Don’t want to use all of your BookMooch points on craft leaflets and pamphlets? I’ve got you covered. The craft leaflets and pamphlets are a challenge for all of us. First, you use a lot of points up quickly. Second, I cannot ship media rate, so I spend a lot on postage. I do want to make these available because most of them are out of print and difficult to find, but I want to make it a good mooch for both of us. In order to minimize the impact, I am offering additional craft booklets and pamphlets, with no points attached, as follows: MOOCH FOUR, GET TWO FREE. Just mooch four or more craft leaflets or pamphlets and then send me an email listing the names of two more you would like free. I will be happy to remove them from my inventory and send them to you, no points attached. MOOCH EIGHT, GET EIGHT FREE! After you have mooched eight, I will make it “mooch one get one free.” Simply mooch eight or more craft leaflets or pamphlets and then send me an email listing the equivalent number you would like free. I will remove those from my inventory and send them to you, no points attached. The idea is to minimize the number of points you “spend” as well as minimize my postage fees. Therefore, you must mooch them all at one time. I only offer this if you request it and if you make the request for the additional titles BEFORE I SHIP.
