I can only infrequently afford to accommodate international requests, but I am always willing to reserve a book for a BookMooch Angel transaction.

Mailing Delays for Fall/Winter 2009!
I will be doing a lot of traveling during this coming holiday season, and I will not be able to make regular trips to the post office. I shall, in fact, be avoiding the post office (and the long holiday lines) like the plague. Feel free to mooch away, but be advised it is possible that your book may not ship until January 2010. (Acknowledging my receipt of books will also likely be delayed.)

All books in my inventory (should) have condition notes listed. I used the grading standard promoted by the Independent Online Booksellers Association to describe all notable wear. For detailed information on this standard, please visit the IOBA Book Condition Definitions webpage.

Shipping:
I am currently only able to mail books on Saturdays. Please be aware there may be some Saturdays I will not be able to get to the post office. I'll do my best to mail your book in a timely manner, and I will certainly keep you aware of any unexpected delays.

For US moochers: When shipping within the US, my books will go via media mail (2 to 9 business days standard delivery according to the post office). I will sometimes send a book via first class mail (1 to 3 business days standard delivery) if it is cheaper to send it that way.

For international moochers: Due to the May 2007 changes in the US postal system that eliminated the option of surface mail, I have greatly limited my shipping of books to international locations. I am still willing to occasionally send books internationally, but I would much prefer to work with a BookMooch Angel as an intermediary for an international mooch. But when I do ship internationally, my books will go via whatever method costs the least (first class shipping at 1 to 2 weeks standard delivery seems the norm).
