Non-smoking household, have three cats, a dumb but long-lived goldfish, an old grumpy dog, and a hyperactive Ba-Shar puppy. (They don't smoke either.) Only slightly insane. Me, not the pets.

Compulsive reader. Also love hiking and quilting. I read mostly non-fiction (Self-help) these days, but enjoy some fiction too. I offer sci-fi and graphic novels on occasion.

FYI - For Canadian Moochers, I will also send books to Canada. I find it difficult to contemplate paying $5-8 to send a book overseas, when people can find usually buy the book used (half.com) for less than that. I also try to make most of my requests within my country, too. I love the concept of swapping internationally, but again I feel postage is prohibitive. I requested 2 books from Australia, but when they told me it would be over $15 US to ship, I cancelled the request, since I could purchase the books used for less than that including S&H.
