Status message:
My books come from a variety of places. I get them from yard sales, personal buying, or friends give them to me. I do have a dog in my house, so if you have allergies, you might consider this. I am also a smoke free home but sometimes I do get them from someone that smokes. Also some of the books have creases on the spines, I do not list this. I do not add books that can not be read. Some of my books are also library issues. If it matters, ask. Some have yellowed pages due to the age of the book. Again, if it matters, ask. I mail media mail or 1st class if cheaper. I also reuse envelopes but use enough tape to keep the whole bundle together--I've learned what the post office can do with a package, the hard way, unfortunately. My son is my "mailman" and every now and again, he forgets to stop at the post office for a couple days. If this is a time issue, let me know and I will remind him to stop.

I am sorry, but until further notice, I will not be sending books outside the US; postage is just ridiculous, and when the postage is more than the cost of the book, I draw the line... Our post office has cut it's hours so even tho I take books up on say, Monday, they might not get mailed out until Friday....sign of the times :(

I am handicapped and my son takes my books to the post office for me once every few weeks. So, if time is of the essence, please let me know.
Plus have been having health issues, so have been spending time in the hospital. If this is an issue, please don't mooch from me. If it gets to where I am not sure what is going on, I will go on vacation.

I am a book lover from as far back as I can remember. I always have my nose stuck in a book whenever I can. I love Pugs and anything to do with them. I have 3 grown sons; 2 fantastic daughters-in-law, two granddaughters and 2 grandsons. Besides reading, I crochet, do counted cross stitch and thread embroidery. I also do some craft work with plastic canvas. I have been a widow since 1996.
