Status message:
My books come from a variety of places. I get them from yard sales, personal buying, or friends give them to me. I do have 3 dogs in my house, so if you have allergies, you might consider this. I am also a smoke free home but sometimes I do get them from someone that smokes. Also some of the books have creases on the spines, I do not list this. I do not list books that can not be read. Some of my books are also library issues. If it matters, ask. Some have yellowed pages due to the age of the book. Again, if it matters, ask. I usually mail out within the next 2 days once I accept. I mail media mail or 1st class if cheaper. I also reuse envelopes but use enough tape to keep the whole bundle together--I've learned what the post office can do with a package, the hard way, unfortunately.

My sister is also using this account with me, not to mail out mooches, but to mooch books, so if you see a totally different name (Margaret-from Illinois) don't panic, it's ok. Have a great day.

I am a book lover from as far back as I can remember. I always have my nose stuck in a book whenever I can. I love Pugs and anything to do with them. I have 3 grown sons, 35, 30, and 24; 2 fantastic daughters-in-law, and an adorable granddaughter born Oct 2006 and a grandson born Feb 8, 2010. I am a full time desk clerk at a Holiday Inn Express. Besides reading, I crochet, do counted cross stitch and thread embroidery. I also do some craft work with plastic canvas. I have been a widow since 1996.
