Status message:
I take and pass along "used" books. Very few are in "like new condition". Although most are just a little worn, if I state that the cover is scruffy, it is just that, scruffy, some creases, maybe a small rip or two, scuffed, old with yellowed pages, maybe some stains - I like to think of it as well read. I don't worry about cosmetics, but I do not pass along books that have loose pages or are coming apart in any way. If you want a like new book don't mooch mine and then note that you threw it away because it wasn't "pretty" even after I noted its condition. Thanks Joann
