***If you decide to mooch any of my books, it MIGHT be about 1-2wks, before I can send it. This is a maybe...I could very well mail it off same day, but do not wish to inconvenience anyone, if it ends up being a week or so before I send it. I generally send out books on Friday. Since I had my auto accident, I do not have a vehicle yet and this has slowed my mailing down a bit***

Most of my moochable books are from library sales, thrift stores and yard/garage sales or give aways. They are in reasonable condition. Any markings, dog-eared corners, SLIGHT water damage/marks, or things of that nature were made BEFORE I bought the book. There may be clipped corners or library marks as well. There may also be writing on the covers or the cover may not be the same one shown. This does not take away from the reading value of any of my moochable books. Please ask if you want to know my opinion on a particular book. If you are an avid collector I can supply photo proofs of condition.

I also use BM to swap books for a local therapy center. This has caused my mooched ratio to go up, while my given ratio has declined. However, I am trying something new this year, so maybe I can get more much sought after books out there for all of you who have the books on their wishlist. Happy Reading!

About some of my cancelled mooches...I will sometimes try and mooch a book from an inactive member to see if they will accept the mooch. Most times they are away so long, because they haven't received a mooch in awhile....also BM suggests it ;0)
"BookMooch member is marked "inactive" if they haven't visited BookMooch recently.
You should mooch from them anyway, because your request might get them to come back to BookMooch.
If they don't respond and you cancel your mooch, they will be put on "vacation", their books will be removed, and you will have helped clean the system of inactive members."
