PLEASE READ BEFORE MOOCHING. THANKS!

For some reason, I am not getting all of my messages from Bookmooch, so there may be some delay before I accept or decline a mooch. I apologize.

I can afford to send books to US and Canada only, but am willing to reserve a book until a BookMooch Angel can be found.

I am now listing individual books on only one trading site at a time. However, in the past I used to list individual books on multiple trading sites. I do my best to keep inventories current, but it is possible that I may have to cancel a mooch on a book that has been requested through another site first.

PLEASE NOTE: MANY BOOKS IN MY INVENTORY HAVE BEEN REGISTERED AT BOOKCROSSING. I can minimize labeling as such if you wish, but if you feel that a BookCrossing book is neither mine to send, nor yours to receive (which is not the way BookCrossing operates by the way), then please do not mooch.

I have more than 7,000 books registered at BookCrossing and have released at least half of them. It is okay to keep a BookCrossing book.

I try to keep up on inventory control, but have so many books going in so many directions that it is impossible for me to be 100% accurate. If there is a problem, I will try to notify you as soon as possible.

Unless otherwise noted, books are in very good condition. I am a nonsmoker and am allergic to smoke, dust, and mold and will note accordingly. I do have a dog and two cats, all shorthair, but nearly all of my books are boxed up in a storage unit until shortly before I read them, so exposure to pet dander is minimized.

I seem to mooch up points as soon as I earn them. So many books, so few points! ;-)

Lately, I have been reading predominantly science fiction and fantasy, followed by nonfiction. I also enjoy travel literature, westerns, classics, and even the occasional romance as long as it is well written and is somewhat racy.
I collect art books, cook books, origami books, and maritime books and am always in search of new ones.
