Bio:
I am an avid reader though I seem to occasionally get stuck on one author and have trouble veering away for a bit. I like to read books in short series such as Fern Michael’s Texas, Vegas and Kentucky sets or V.C. Andrews. I am always happy to get recommendations on new books to read.

I recently got my husband to read probably his first book since high school and he enjoyed it so some of my wish list is for him as well.

Our family is very country and though we are a non smoking home we do have dogs and cats in the house. I do get some of my books from thrift stores so those with allergies please use caution. I try an make sure any unusual smells are noted in the book condition.

I recently stumbled upon a website about the top 50 most banned books. Some I should have read in high school, some I had never heard of. Apparently I have a little rebel in me, I am completely intrigued by some of these books. They went directly to my wish list. I guess because someone is trying to tell us we shouldn't read something it makes me want to read it all that much more!
