Status message:
There may be a short delay before I accept your request to mooch a book from me, because I've learned to not accept any mooch until I have located the book and put it aside for packaging. Early on I had 3 or 4 episodes of not being able to find a book after I'd already accepted a mooch. My current system doesn't let that happen.

I usually go to the post office only once a week, but go more often when I have periods of heavy mooching.

FYI--I don't mail internationally because of the cost, BUT I also don't mooch internationally. That's why I have several books on my wishlist that are available but I haven't mooched them. I will wait for them to become available from a moocher in my country.

Bio:
I'm a disabled two-time widow with limited income and lots of time on my hands. I've always loved to read and this site is the perfect answer to my need to clean off my book shelves and find new authors and books that suit me at this point in my life.
