Will only send out one book overseas starting in September as postage and the increase of paperwork has become an issue.
ON do try to mail out once a week and I usually add new books to my list during in the week.
I will start sending overseas again in September 2013, so if you want it, contact me.
I can and do spend too much on postage, but the shelves are getting cleared and the books are getting sent to good homes. If you see some authors twice on my list, check with me, as I usually have more from this author that haven't made it on the inventory list. I do send overseas, but you may have to wait several weeks, as I try to spread out the postal expenses.
Because of an unfortunate experience, I must remind anyone who mooches that I take the time to fill in condition notes and to make sure you know you are mooching a hardback, paperback, previously mooched book, or a thrift store find. If you DO NOT want a hardback book, do not order one. If you need "like new" check the condition notes for that notation.
I keep listing books everyone wants, and this month of September has had me shipping overseas and in the US and my postage cost has been crazy But I will keep shipping but you should check out status message.
I am an avid reader and keep many of the books I purchase. I have gotten lovely books second hand, but will usually let the moocher know that up front. I am in the process of clearing some space and am using BookMooch to do so. If you see something interesting and are out of the country, contact me and see if I will send it. I usually mail within days of receiving and accepting the mooch. Recently, my daughter cleared her shelves and I have been adding her books to my list. She doesn't smoke and her books were stored well. I had a wonderful dog, Hercules who died recently after 17 wonderful years. He loved me, but never had much contact with my library. I miss him something awful.
