Status message:
International moochers: Generally, the postage to send a single book has been made nasty, now that USA international surface mail has been eliminated (grrr). I like sending internationally, but only when I can send several books in a flat-rate package. It's unusual that someone wants more than one of the books in my inventory, but there is hope! If you can find them at BookMooch, but the owner is from the USA and will only send to their own country, I can mooch from them, and combine books to send to you. More importantly, if you can find books currently available at paperbackswap.com (a USA only book trading site), I can also get them sent to me. That site has about four times the number of books listed that BookMooch does. Usually, five normal size mass market paperbacks fit in a package, six if they are smaller, which is really great. Larger paperbacks and smaller hardcovers sometimes can squeeze in with a group of four, which is my minimum. I make an exception for books in my own inventory, which I will send three of as a minimum. In all cases I check the dimensions first before you mooch, and I make sure they are in acceptable condition to you. If you're interested, let me know.
