Generally, I add books to my inventory as soon as I have finished reading them. Certainly, all books are in readable condition, but I make no promises beyond that. Some books may have sustained damage while being carried around in my backpack between being read on the train; or had liquids spilled on them as I read them; or may even have been purchased (or mooched) already slightly the worse for wear. If you are interested/concerned with the condition of a given book, please send me a message (or note in the mooch) and I'll let you know before sending what the condition of the book is. I am a non-smoker; however, as noted above, many of my books are mooched or otherwise secondhand, so some of those may have been through smokers' houses. Additionally, my books and I are privileged to share a house with a cat. I am happy to send books internationally, but sending books from Australia is - by Northern Hemisphere standards - surprisingly expensive. If you are mooching internationally, please try and mooch as many books as possible. I treat each mooch on a case-by-case basis but generally one or two books isn't economical to send internationally. Three or more may be. However, if the books are available to you on Amazon and would cost you less to buy them new than it would cost me to send my used copies to you, then I'm probably not going to accept the mooch. |
