Status message:
If you send world wide, then there is no need to ask, just mooch away. If you are not in Canada and send only to your own country, then you can ask and explain why I should send to you when you wouldn't send to me.

If you are a BookMooch angel and want something in my inventory, either contact me and I will send it to you, or mooch it and I'll refund your points (this latter would be better if its something on several people's wish lists and likely to be snapped up quickly). I will send by the most economical option offered by the post office. Consequently if you are not in Canada or the US, it could take 2 to 3 months for my parcel to reach you.

I have a cat, something to consider if you suffer from cat allergies. I also enjoy an occasional pipe, though mostly outdoors. And for books I've gotten second hand I cannot say how many dogs, cats, cigars, cigarettes, joints, peanuts, cleaning solutions, asbestos, persons with dandruff, radioactive isotopes, lepers, venemous snakes, etc. they may have been exposed to. All I can say is that so far I haven't offered a book I haven't read, and none of them has killed me yet.

My books have been read and are not likely in pristine condition. I will mention if there is an especially egregious flaw like a conspicuous tear or stain.

I am a computer geek (open source software mostly) and acting teacher, with a background in social sciences and humanities. My taste in books is somewhat eclectic.

I ship by the most economical option the post office offers, and hope you will do the same for anything I might mooch from you. Shipping costs need to be kept down, especially for international mooching.
