Status message:
My books are generally used but good shape,although some are quite old and therefore yellowed. I live in the tropics, and the humidity is tough on paperbacks with poor quality paper. Will be happy to answer questions if you are in doubt. If that is a problem please let me know when you mooch. Non-smoking household, but I have cats and dogs. I am no longer shipping outside the USA because costs have become absurd. I am now retired and fixed income is a concern. If you see something your truly want, please write and I will see if it is possible to make an exception.

Bio:
An avid reader, it is both my profession (as a professor of literature) and my great pleasure. I read many genres, but tend to keep a lot of books. Sometimes only the fact that if I don't get rid of some I can't get more for lack of shelf-space pushes me to listing books. I have sent books world wide since joining years ago, but postal rates have finally defeated me. If you wish for a book and are not in the US, please email me first.
