I just moved from Co to Az so had to give away all my inventory. I'll slowly rebuild my give away pile.

Bio:
Thanks for checking out my inventory. The books I give away I get from various sources so many are pre-owned.

I’m married (16 years); I don't smoke and don't presently have any animals at home. Until recently, my orange tabby of 18 years liked to sit in the middle of my books while I read.

I have many passions but my oldest and dearest is “books.” I have 700+ books listed on my shelf at LibraryThing.

There is not a genre in which I haven’t read at least one book. However, Science Fiction has always ranked highest on my library ladder of loves.

The #1 theme I am mad about is Time Travel. If you know of any author who likes to write about this subject or you can recommend a good book let me know. I’m always searching for new stuff. Running a close 2nd is Dragons!

What I like to read, In a nutshell:
Science Fiction/Fantasy – What’s the difference between the two? –
Piers Anthony, Isaac Asimov, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Orson Scott Card, Alan Dean Foster, Frank Herbert, Mercedes Lackey, Anne McCaffrey, Rand Miller, E.E. Doc Smith, Roger Zelazny

Horses – Walter Farley’s Black Stallion books and Marguerite Henry’s Misty books (both with me since childhood) as well as Dick Francis (discovered in my adulthood.)

Adventure – Clive Cussler (I own all his books except the last 2 published), James Rollins (what a nice, personal guy.)

Detective – Janet Evanovich (makes me laugh out loud), Joanne Fluke (love the cooking recipes) and Stuart Woods (makes me hold my breath.)

????? – Michael Crichton, just how do you assign him to a specific genre? I usually need a dictionary when I read his stuff, but it’s great.

When I’m not reading (or working) you can find me on horseback!

Worlds in Words!
Fern
