Due to the international book point increase, I will no longer be adding many books to my inventory, as it is just too expensive. Go ahead and mooch any of the books in my existing inventory- I'm still going to be monitoring my pending page. I love sending internationally! Canada Post has horrible rates for sending within Canada. You can send a book to the Philippines from here, and it's generally cheaper than most places in Canada! For Canadian mooches, you may go ahead and mooch, just bear in mind that I'll decide if I can afford to send the book to you based on the size of the book, so you may have your request rejected. I'll always send within Canada if the book fits in lettermail, as that actually has a reasonable postage rate, but otherwise, only as the exception or with a multiple mooch. If the condition notes are blank on any book, that means that I added it recently and haven't had time to type out the condition. It does NOT mean that they are in perfect condition. If you have any questions, go ahead and e-mail me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks! All of the books I list have the same cover as shown unless I note in the condition. I add the books by their ISBN, the majority of my books are paperback, so if I add a hardcover I will note that in my condition. Otherwise, you can assume it's softcover. I generally note it in the condition if the listing says hardcover and it is softcover, but details have been known to slip past me unnoticed. :) I'm very meticulous when describing every apparent tiny defect regarding the condition of my inventory of books... when I read back over my description, the book can sound hideous even when it's overall quite good. Please keep this in mind when you read the condition. PLEASE NOTE: I quite often add books to Bookmooch without reading them beforehand, and I do get quite a few secondhand, so please be aware I'll note everything I see that is defective with the book, but since I have not actually read it myself, underlining and writing in the book might escape unnoticed. If this is something that would bother you, if you e-mail me I can check that specific book for you. :)
Depending on the size of the book and current postage rates, some books will be sent surface mail, especially if it is a thicker type book and/or you live out of North America. Please help me build up my stock of points by mooching! I (of course- who doesn't?) love multiple mooches, but just one is great, too! You may have noticed in my profile that I have canceled several requests. Almost all of those cancellations I canceled because the owner has not accepted the request within two weeks and has not responded to two reminders. At this point I cancel. If I have ever cancelled a book from you for that reason, and you are now willing to send the book to me, feel free to contact me, and it's likely I'll still want to mooch it. Also, I have had quite a few requests cancelled on me... these are almost always because the requesters have not read the condition notes- they find themselves shocked by the condition that is clearly stated in the notes or don't comply with the occasional sad-but-needful multiple mooch request for the thicker books. Thank you, Peter Pan giver! Yay for anonymous mailing of books! :D Also, yay for anonymous point gifting! :) Feel free to sift through my wishlist... I always appreciate it when you e-mail me and let me know that you have something unlisted that you are willing to send to me! Or if you happen to list something in good condition that you notice is on my wishlist and reserve for me. :) The books I list don't always reflect my reading tastes as quite often I get books from thrift stores specifically for putting on Bookmooch... sometimes because I know that they are books on wishlists and I want to help people get the books they want, and sometimes because they are in perfect condition and I know will please the next owner. :) If you have a copy of The Queen of Attolia or A Conspiracy of Kings that is in decent condition and you are willing to send to me, please e-mail me!
