Status message:
I am letting all bookmoochers ahead of time that if you mooch a book from me I try to get them out to you as soon as I possibly can. I can usually get them sent within a month but sometimes I will pop on the computer here and add books:) I have health issues...I have had 7 knee surgeries. Four of them in the past 5 years. I am still trying to get well from the last 4 surgeries. I had to get a new Dr. because I believe that I was used as his gunie pig. The only surgery he needed to do was the one I got the 3rd time under the knife. Found out from the new Dr. that since I had had so many surgeries in a short amount of time that I now have severe nerve damage and need to work with my pain management to try and find a nerve medication that works for me. I was also told that it could take 2-3 years to find the right medication. So far I have been on 2 different medications but they both had bad side effects and so I go back this week to see what the next pill may be. I was told that pain causes depression and depression leads to pain and that I am in a " vicious cycle". I am very fustrated because since the nerve pills work in your brain to stop the signals saying my knee is not in pain. Both of the medications I tried left me incompasitated. I am doing the best I can with what I got. It is not easy, actually it is very hard and I would wish this had not happened to anyone, nobody deserves to live like this. I believe that I am headed to another surgery as my knee gave out on me and I fell directly on my good knee and now have a Dr. appointment to see what that fall did to my knee. I appreciate your continued patience and understanding in this difficult time.
