Status message:
We send out books weekly. We cannot always specify the wear of a book, since it is most times donated. We take the best care in choosing books wwhich look new and don't have damage, but a lot like what we pull from local shelters....well it's a coin toss. Your doing a good deed by mooching from us though, and we thank you for all your support of our animal rescue!

Bio:
Delta Paws animal rescue is teaming up with Bookmooch to help build a reference library for our volunteers and fosters in our rescue group. We are so often in need of books on training, behavior or just simply a book that tells us all about a certain breed. With pulling animals from local shelters, we experience a lot of "mutt" variety but sometimes get the curve ball. A pure bred Australian shepard came to the rescue. No one knew all the things expected of this dog, which turned out to be hard on the dog during his training. We got some books, educated ourselves and viola! we have a very well trained dog who just got adopted last week. Other times, we may need books to help with diagnosis of small problems. If we can identify what our rescue dog or cat is going though, it may just save a trip to after hours emergency, a sometimes radically expensive trip. So far, cross our paws, we haven't had to do this in the year that we have been up and running. We will really make good use of the books available to us on Bookmooch so please consider making a donation of points today!
