Status message: I'm happy to send books anywhere, but unfortunately, due to increased postage costs, must limit international mooches to paperbacks and very small books. Almost all of my books were acquired second-hand, and most are in very good condition. HOWEVER, due to a couple of recent unfortunate experiences, I want to point out that I currently have listed several surplussed library copies of paperbacks, and some of these are fairly worn. Although I TRY to mention this in the condition notes, I may sometimes miss a few. If a book does not have condition notes, please write before mooching if you have concerns. Most are registered at Bookcrossing.com, and so will have a label with an ID number inside. I hope you will consider going to Bookcrossing and doing a journal entry.
SPECIALS: Some paperbacks in my inventory are listed as "free", as long as you mooch 2 other books. See the condition notes to find which ones are offered free. Just mooch the book along with 2 others and drop me a note to point out that you're taking advantage of the offer, and I will smooch back a point.
Bio: I'm a musician and music teacher in New Orleans. My entire collection of books was destroyed (along with the house) by Hurricane Katrina. I'm now working on replacing things, and I absolutely LOVE Bookmooch. I'm looking especially for Italian language literature, (classics and also contemporary writers). Please drop me a note if you have anything!
Agli amici italiani: cerco letteratura in lingua italiana, specialmente i libri di Andrea Camilleri (sul personaggio Montalbano), Guareschi (Don Camillo), i gialli di Sciascia, poi scrittori come Umberto Eco, Calvino, Moravia, Pirandello....fammi un email! Grazie!
