Status message:
I'm very busy, but I don't like to sit on books once someone has mooched from me and I really will try and send them out as soon as I can. I have never taken more than a week to send out a book, so you can expect much the same unless I tell you outright of special personal circumstances that may delay sending the book.

*** I regret that I cannot send every book internationally at this time, but I will try to do so for hard-to-find books or books with long wishlists. Please ask me first. If you live in Asia, I may ask you to mooch another book to make it more worthwhile as I've found shipping there to be particularly expensive. I hope I will be able to send books internationally more freely again in a couple of months when I find another job. Thanks for understanding the limitations. ***

I like to re-use packaging because it's more earth-friendly and also wallet-friendly during the economic slump. Sometimes it will be old bubble mailers, sometimes manila envelopes with reusable plastic bags as padding. It may not be pretty, but I really do my best to make sure the book(s) won't get jostled too much during transit. If this really bothers you and you absolutely will not be happy with anything less than a brand-new bubble mailer for your book, I apologize, and suggest you look for your desired book from another moocher.

Bio:
Books I put up in inventory range from advance readers copies, brand new, not-so-gently used (blame others in my family for that), or used books I snag at thrift stores and yard sales.

I have a non-smoking home, and while I do have a large dog in the house he's generally not near the books which are up on bookshelves or in boxes. Whatever trace dander might be on my hands when I read the books... well, I leave that to your discretion to decide to take that risk if you'd like to mooch from me. I can't vouch for the allergen history of books not purchased new, but will try to list where I got them whenever possible.
