BEFORE YOU MOOCH, PLEASE NOTE THE DELAY IN SENDING. Scroll down to see when your mooch will be sent.
I have had to change to "Ask Me" as people are mooching heavy books I can't afford to send OS, without reading condition notes, SORRY!!!
I have decided I can afford to mail out books no more than two mooches a month. If you are prepared to wait, go ahead and mooch! I will email you with the expected date of mailing when I reply to your mooch request. But if you have EVER sent me a book, I will send your mooch out straight away.

I am usually happy to send overseas, but remember, I'm in Australia so the book might take a little longer to reach you! I always send airmail :~) if it's 125g or under, or if it's thin enough to go as a Large Letter (under 2cm) otherwise I'll send it Seamail (without a "Seamail" sticker): in my experience these almost always go airmail
NB NB NB I will NOT send books over 453g to the USA due to the $9 surcharge (those mooches will be rejected).
I may restrict HEAVY books to NSW, Australia only, as postage is getting so expensive, I'll usually note this in the condition notes.
If you are mooching from Australia, please mooch two books to make it worthwhile (unless it's a thin one that can go large letter) as the smallest parcel size has gone up to 500g.
Condition: I live with a ex-smoker (yay, he finally gave it up!) but he never smoked inside the house. I had a cat in my last house but not this one.
Some of my books are 2nd hand to me so I have no way of knowing about animal dander but I will say in the condition notes if there is a strong smell.
NONE of my books is in pristine condition unless it says so in the condition notes. All of them have been read (usually more than once) and will have some cover wear. If there are no condition notes, expect a used, but still very much readable, book.

Packing: I usually pack books in a sealed plastic bag to protect them, then into recycled packaging with plenty of tape so they are secure.
I'm not a BookCrosser, but I'll always journal a book I have mooched if it has a BCID.

Bio:
I love to read and to walk. I read on the treadmill at home and while I walk around my hometown. People meet me and say "Oh, you're the lady who reads while she walks....how do you do that?" (it's easy and I get a lot of books read that way!)
