Status message:
I am so sorry, BookMooch peeps, but apparently the USPS jacked up prices to ship overseas. I just spent $65 to send 4 books, and I can't afford that, so for now I have to stay within the US and Canada.

Bio:
Woo hoo! I love to read and have been an avid bibliophile all my life... so it's quite a change to be trying to give some books away. Guess I'm getting older! (Of course, uh, I'm also GETTING more books from here, and am once again facing the age-old problem of "so many books, so little free time.")

Please note: I do cancel book requests if I haven't heard from the owner in more than a month. I figure that's a good sign they are not going to be able to send the book.

I try to always describe the condition of my books - if they have come from my own personal library they will most likely be in very good to excellent condition (although I cop to the very bad habit of dog-earing pages sometimes). Some that I have previously mooched and am passing on may not be quite so pretty.

Ours is a non-smoking home, but we do have two cats (and two kids, but they mostly leave mommy's books alone...).

Lastly, thanks, mom, for introducing me to the wonderful world of mooching. And yes, that is I with Edward Cullen... a gift from my husband on our 10th anniversary. Is that love or WHAT?
