Status message:
I try to ship within 48 hours and will try to ship internationally, having said that (and it KILLS me to say this), I've had SO many swaps in the past two weeks that I've got to put a limit on things now. I will ship once or twice a week (unless you order enough that a Priority shipment box or envelope is a better value or it's one of those tiny books that can easily go out First Class). If I can't send it this week, I'll always let you know. If things still seem to get crazy, I'll put myself on vacation for a week.

Now, international sales: If it's a light book, and it costs less than $5.50 U.S. to ship, it's a guaranteed YES...but if not, I'll do it on a case-by case basis. I am easily swayed by stories of how much you love a given book.

Bio:
I'm a former classroom teacher who still reads mostly children's/YA titles, but you'll find some non-fiction and the odd adult fiction title on my shelves. My family (and books) are smoke-free (my eyes get awfully itchy 'round smoky books), but we have two cats. As for me, I just need titles that are from smoke-free homes (pets aren't an issue).

I try to ship books within 48 hours since my work load is a little light right now. Of course, this may also prevent me from shipping within 48 hours if the money gets tight. Since I work online, I'm online for most of the work day and check my e-mail frequently at night (and on weekends). As a result, most books will be confirmed quickly...unless I'm asleep.

I sold books for years before signing up here...now I want to give books to people who'll read them. If you're mooching just to resell, please don't...read it FIRST, then decide if you want to resell it. Thanks!

While I will consider shipping internationally, for heavier books it's more difficult. I'm willing to look up how much it costs to ship abroad, but if it costs more than $5.50 U.S. (give or take a few cents), I might not be able to do it. Also, I may not get to the post office as fast for an international order (since those have to be presented to a clerk at the window), so there may be a delay of a week or less if you don't live in the US. Thanks for understanding.

Ooh, one more thing. If you are an international buyer and I can ship to you, PLEASE "check out" the book within 24 hours. I don't like to have a "reserved book" listed for too long since I don't think it's fair to others who may really want a given title.
