BMJ Library Charity States We are going to be doing a series of Q & A for the next
few weeks to see if we can clear up any misunderstandings
about journals and journaling. If you have any questions
please either send them to me via email or to the
Heard Island Charity (in my friends list)
by email and we will try to answer them.
1) Who does the journal belong to?
A) It's creator.
a) The Charity shelves try to keep track of and assist
with finding lost journals, stalled journals or
returning journals that are full to their creators,
we do not own them and do not make any claims on them
other then trying to help find them and return them to
their owners.
From time to time a charity may question an owner without
relizing that the person 'owns' the journal, that is a
mistake as the owner retains all rights to the work but
in our zeal sometimes to get a stalled journal moving we
question people about them, just explain you created it
and we will move along.
2) How long can I keep a journal?
A)Two weeks.
a)We understand the econimic crisis, health issues
and other troubles that dodge us,
just make contact with a charity shelf and see
what can be arrigned either with waiting
to send or with sending all at once...
