Status message:
My books come from a non-smoking home. They are stored on bookshelves in our guest room, where our dog is not allowed. I will send books to other countries upon request, as many books on my wish list are not available.

Bio:
I am 46 and have been disabled with the bladder disease, Interstitial Cystitis for 13 years. It is an inflamation of the lining of the bladder and is extremely painful. the pain has been likened to cancer pain. I am bedridden in pain two to five days a week. There is no cure yet.

Being Scottish, Welsh, Irish and English, someone suggested the M.C. Beaton books to me. I had never enjoyed reading before, but fell in love with mysteries. I read about 45 books a year. It has really been a help to me in dealing with my pain. I love mysteries set in my native countries along with culinary ones.

I only request books that are not available within the state I live in, Michigan. Loving Irish, Scottish and English female authors, it is sometimes difficult to collect all the books in the series. That is why I love this site.
