NOTE: I had to cancel all mooches except two. I am deeply sorry to everybody. I am having some very serious life issues and may have to relocate as well. I hope people will understand.

Bio:
Hi, I'm a 52 year old Substitute Teacher from the Colorado Springs area (I don't live exactly "in" Colorado Springs - just nearby).

I love to read and the library has always been my second home. Genre's I enjoy are historical fiction (depends upon what aspect of history - I'm more into world history), mystery, medical thrillers (sometimes), exploration and adventure stories (like mountaineering), biographies and autobiographies, some romance as long as it isn't too gushy or silly but more realistic, travel books and books about other cultures/countries, and other misc fiction. I'm not that into science fiction but can read some "light" scifi at times - not too often though. I also like classics as well - and well, it depends a little upon my mood and what I want to read at the time.

If it interests anybody, I am member of www.postcrossing.com (lavend52), and I also do penpaling - although I am not quite as active in my paling as I used to be. I really like the outdoors/nature a lot too. I like animals but not as much into those as I used to be.
