** No books in my inventory right now, I'm reorganizing my bookshelves. ** I am mailing 2 packages (> 100g) per month; and any number of smaller packages within Canada (for very thin books). ** ** Note that I'm in no hurry to receive any books mooched, so surface mail is fine. Bio:
I'm reading usually a new book every week, mostly sci-fi (golden age, canadian (english & french)), and a bit of fantasy & horror. At other times I like to read classics and non-fiction. Most of my books have been read, as a result there could be creases on the book spines, and they show usage. I try to accurately describe the condition of my books, still ask me if condition is important to you. I share my place with my cats, and as far as I can tell they don't read much but they do enjoy bookshelves, so there could be cat hair (that's Nuit & Khensu in the picture). How I mail books:
Canada - mostly via Expedited, unless the book is small enough to fit in with regular mail. I would also appreciate if Canadian members could mooch more than one book at a time, although don't worry if you can't find more than one.
United States - usually via air mail. Most of the time it is cheaper to send to the US than to Canada.
International - if the package weights less than 250g, it will be via airmail, otherwise via sea turtle. International members do not have to email me before mooching. If possible, I will reuse any packaging material I already have. If you're sending books to me, surface mail is fine, as I have lots of books in my reading pile. Some books are in French, they will be identified in the condition notes with "French/Français".
