Status message:
I lost my job at the end of September 2009 and took my inventory off line to save money, with the intention of putting it back once I found a job. I now have a job, but in the interim had to get rid of all the books I was offering up for mooching because I unexpectedly acquired a lot of books I needed the storage space for. Once I start culling those I will be putting some new books up for mooching. Below is my posting information, for when I again have an inventory to offer.

I ship by surface mail, which can take a while, typically 3-5 weeks to the USA and Australia, usually less than 2 weeks within Europe. All bets are off for other parts of the world. I appreciate it when people mooch more than one book, as it is more cost efficient, but I don't require it. I usually mail within a week of receiving a mooch, but sometimes it can take a little longer.

My home is smoke free, but I do have a pair of cockatiels, so anyone with an allergy should take that into consideration. Many of the books I am offering came to me second hand and I do not know if they came from homes with pets.

I will note under condition if a book smells, is dirty, has mold spots or water damage, and if the damage is substantial I offer such books for one point and not the usual two.

Occasionally I list books that are different editions from the ones shown in the book information or have different cover artwork. These are often old books that in some cases date to back before the ISBN system and are not in the Amazon database. I will always say so in the condition notes.
