Reading:
I love to read. I can't remember a time when I didn't love to read. Reading is so important to me that I have my own in-home library:

My library helps me stay sane, honestly, and it (along with the local public library) provides me with plenty of reading material for the reading challenges I'm participating in.
In addition to my private and local libraries, though, my husband got me a nook for Christmas 2010 and I have it overloaded with books! :-D It's my new favorite toy!!!

About my home:
My home is smoke-free with four cats. My cats are allowed in my library because they enjoy reading just as much as I do. They also typically enjoy reading the books that I'm reading while I'm reading them. Silly kitties. :-)

Packaging:
I reuse packaging. I do a lot of Amazon shopping and my fiancé is an ebay addict. I did pick up a package of padded envelopes and he found some colorful padded envelopes that he had for some reason, but neither of those have been opened and they'll stay that way until I run out of re-usable packing materials. :-) Oh, I also wrap the books in plastic wrap before packaging them in case the packaging gets wet. Better to be safe than sorry!

Shipping:
I try my hardest to ship books out once or twice a week. If I can't make it to the post office during the week for some reason, then I'll go on Saturday if necessary. If for some reason, however, I'm not able to ship books out within one week, I will let you know. I'll also let you know why shipping is delayed and try to estimate my next post office trip. :-)

Internation Shipping:
I will almost always send internationally provided that it isn't a really large or heavy book. Just shoot me a message first and I'll let you know if I can and when I'll most likely send it out if you do request it.

Past Updates:
2012-05-18: Alright, all pending books will be going out within a week! (Finally, right?) However, I have cleared my inventory. Most of those books have been listed for longer than a year. If they're not moving, they're not likely to move. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, probably list them as a few lots based on genre on Craigslist. I've got more books that I'll list when I'm doing a little better financially. I would hate to make more people wait MONTHS (again) just because I can't spare the $5 to ship a book out.
2011-09-22: Due to financial issues, I will be taking a break from shipping books out. Hopefully I'll be able to resume shipping in a few months, but until that time I will probably not log on often. I'll probably request a few books, but even though I've earned my points I feel a little guilty if I'm just mooching without shipping anything out. *sigh*
2011-06-17: I shipped out all pending requests. :-)
2011-06-16: I'm shipping out books Friday morning (before 1p CST) so if you request something by noon CST, it should ship out barring unforseen circumstances. (ie: me oversleeping)
2011-06-11: I'm reorganizing and cataloging my library and adding some books to bookmooch. I probably won't add condition notes to all of them, but feel free to message me if you need to know the condition before requesting. Because of the scope of my library project, it may be a few days before I respond to requests or messages, but I will get to them. Promise. :-)
2010-11-08: I just entered a bunch of older books (many of them without ISBNs) and I can't wait to ship them out to you! I didn't have time to add condition notes, so until I can do that, just message me if you need to know the exact condition.
