After you receive your box of 1000 cards, you can offer smaller batches of the cards (such as 25 or 50 cards) to others, who can mooch them from you. Click the "give your copy" button on the size box of cards you want to give away.

I am also offering BookMooch bookmarks, and you might prefer them to the cards.



If you prefer, you can have the cards printed yourself. I use a printing company called Postcard Press, who charges $90 for 1000 cards, with double-sided glossy color printing, but there are many companies on the Internet who can do this kind of printing. (Postcard Press). You will need Adobe Illustrator if you want to change the card design.

When I first anounced the availability of these cards, they were extremely popular and I was swamped with over 800 requests. That's a lot of little envelopes, and it took me over a month to get them all out. It also cost me over $2000 in postage and $3000 in card printing costs.

Because of the huge demand and how much work it is for me to send these cards out personally, I no longer send small packages of cards.

Now, I only send 1000 cards out at a time, and I'm asking you to include 50 cards with each book you send out. That way, you can help me get cards to everyone in BookMooch, as part of the regular book packages you're sending out.

The last of the mailings, hurrah! Those four boxes represented 175 mailings: over a month's time I sent about four times this many packages.
